Composite video to HDMI?

Running into a problem, just got my tv mounted on the chimney and have only wired HDMI cable as they are the only ones that fit. I currently have a non-hdmi box that only has a composite video connection. I have heard of converters, do they work well, where should I get one? What are my options?
