Question about Season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the episode called "grave"(i think);is this a blooper?

If it was a blooper I wasn't aware of it...I thought it made perfect sense for him to laugh, it really kind of put things into perspective. Could be that it started out as a blooper and they decided it worked and kept it...I don't know.
