Please help! How do I install (manually) an internal DVR?
I would imagine its a DVD burner? I'd prefer to have in an internal. Less cables, and external DC converter to mess with. Its super easy to hook up. As long as your PC has an open 5 inch bay, and I'm uming its IDE? Make sure you're ok there, as many motherboards have connectors that are SATA (the newest around). To install your gift, all it is, is 4 small screws to mount it to your PC box, an IDE cable, and a power cable. Some cheap PCs have very few extra power connectors. I would consider removing the CD-ROM and placing the new DVD right in there. That way, you're all set with space, and cables. The external drive should not interfere with any of the internal ones
